WHO QUALIFIES FOR THE CHRISTI SEVAK SAMMAN AWARDS
There are broadly two types of recognitions -
THE CHRISTI SEVAK SAMMAN AWARDS and THE LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT CHRISTI SEVAK AWARDS
They are presented to those who rise above and beyond what is normally expected of them and excelling in their respective sphere of activity. Thanks to the collective effort of such individuals / institutions / NGOs, backed by spiritual and other support of Indian Christians, the community is able to raise its heads high. The services of the CSS Awardees with their service contribute to making a better India, especially for those in their immediate locality – irrespective of any distinction like caste or religion. The Christian contribution is nation-building by supporting hundreds small local communities that make up the country. The CSS Awardees are those credited for selfless yeoman community service, increasing collaboration and cooperation, enhancing relationships, promoting professionalism, volunteering assistance, championing causes, etc.
Self-nominations are accepted. You are invited to nominate individuals / institutions / NGOs heads whom you feel deserve The CSS Awards by filling in the NOMINATIONS form available at www.christisevak.com Kindly mention reasons why the nominee is suggested, the nominee’s contributions to the community and public in general. The impact and fruits of the nominee’s services. Nominations not accepted in the current year may be considered for any of the next three years award cycles.
For The CSS Awards, special emphasis is laid on publicly recognizing and morally supporting those who have – excelled/served well in the year or served for at least 5 years or whose services may not be as recognized as they deserve. We are committed to creating a diverse inclusive India and are passionate about developing meritorious potential community members and promoting existing leaders as citizens. While beginning with individuals / institutions / NGOs, we propose to expand The CSS Awards categories to religious, teams/choirs, inter-faith, etc.
Those who would like to self nominate or recommend others, need to fill the NOMINATION FORM by 20th October 2022 with details to be placed before the Selectors Jury whose decision is final and binding. The final list of Awardees will be announced on 30th October 2022 and The CSS Awards Presentation Ceremony will be held by mid-November 2022.
